WHAT WE DO

SAM3 enables stakeholder interaction to generate new ideas to co-create technology-based solutions and services for older adults. It will be a platform for knowledge innovation and exchange to ensure new technologies get from the lab to people as quickly as possible with and through partner companies. • Facilities: SAM3 has hospital and university facilities provide space that can be used for initial concept evaluation through to trial use with actual volunteer users.

• Cross Discipline Expertise: SAM3 allows industry partners to engage with clinical and engineering expertise to quickly create and trial concepts.

• Collaboration with Industry: Industry partners will be able to collaborate with other partners on projects that combine each of the partner’s strengths.

• Research Ethics: Use by real end users to understand the value, impact and benefit of solutions while adhering to Research Ethics.

• Partners: Will have access to SAM3 advisory boards to provide input on SAM3 direction.

• Forums: All partners will have access to Hub and Agewell forums and events.

We work in partnership with the AGEWELL NIH Advancing Policies and Practice in Technology and Aging to bridge the gap between technology solutions that meet the needs of the aging and the public policy required for their use.
